Mapping Solutions LLC, a PB Software VAR in the North Central US, has increased its sales of MapInfo Professional 61% over one year ago. We asked sales VP Duncan Campbell to share his insights about their success.
Campbell says they’re selling more MapInfo Professional because “the economy is improving in our region, and our MapperG companion product adds value to PB’s offering. MapperG provides international street display, aerials and street level geocoding at a competitive price point.”
Mapping Solutions targets a mix of industries including insurance, grocery, healthcare, temp agencies and manufacturers. “We’re seeing larger installs of MI Pro and MapperG in departments as opposed to individual users,” says Campbell. “Healthcare continues to grow as it is a consolidating industry with regulatory reporting requirements.”
In addition to MI Pro sales, Mapping Solutions is building their business by going deeper into their existing clients with PB’s Spectrum product line. “We’re mixing on-demand with on-premise products for a better value proposition. We’re moving from the desktop to the IT department.”
